About Me

I am a highly motivated journalist with a keen eye for detail and excellent communication, teamwork & analytical skills gained through my degree, professional placement year at the Hastings Independent Press, time as a reporter at the Times of Tunbridge Wells and in my current role as the Assistant Editor of New Food.

Outside of university and work, I am an avid follower of sports (especially football, rugby union, tennis, darts, boxing and F1), passionate about cinema and enjoy cooking.

What I can do for you

I am a multimedia journalist and Assistant Editor at New Food, with experience writing, editing, and producing digital and multimedia content for both online and print audiences. In my current role, I manage daily news updates on the website, edit external contributions for the magazine and client projects, and oversaw the production of Food to Go, the publication’s podcast series. As the podcast host, I’ve interviewed leading voices in the food industry, including representatives from Too Good To Go, CleanCo, and The Vegan Society.

Previously, at The Times of Tunbridge Wells, I worked as a reporter and sports editor, responsible for producing stories across news, business, community, and sports sections. I managed the paper’s social media presence, adapting content to drive engagement and grow the publication’s online reach.

My production expertise includes audio and video editing using Adobe Audition and Premiere Pro, alongside experience operating filming and sound equipment. I am always eager to expand my technical knowledge and have a proven ability to quickly learn new software, platforms, and production tools.

I am passionate about creating high-quality, engaging journalism that informs and captivates. Whether through written articles, video interviews, or podcasts, I am eager to continue telling impactful stories in the evolving media landscape.
